uFoodies Tour

Slide 1

Restaurant managers and staff who are given access to the uFoodies table management and reservation service must first login to their account.

Depending on his/her level of access, a user can work with the Setup Wizard, a reservation book, table layouts and the guestbook for their restaurant. All locations are accessible via a single login.

Slide 4

On the Setup > Access screen, users that are given Manager status or higher, are able to assign permissions to other staff members who require access to the site.

Creating another user account simply requires the Administrator or Manager to click Add and complete the name and login information.

On the Setup > Layouts screen, users that are given Hostess status or higher, are able to create and edit table configurations for each section of each restaurant.

Simply drag tables into place to create a virtual map of your restaurant. The drop-down list at the top of screen, enables users to easily work on layouts for different locations and rooms.

On the Setup > Closed Days screen, the hostess/manager can set the dates for which the restaurant will be closed (holidays, special events, remodel).

To assign a closed date, simply select a date in the calendar and click "Add ". In the pop-up window, provide a reason for the closing. After configuring all of the closed dates, click Save.

When the hostess or server clicks "Add Reservation", a pop up appears which includes fields for capturing reservation details such as name, date, party size, time, phone number and occasion. The hostess can also take the opportunity to capture the customer's email address and special notes. The name or initials of the person who takes the reservation is also recorded.

By clicking Save, uFoodies reservation engine is invoked and the reservation is instantly validated and booked.

On the Reservations > Tables screen, the hostess assigns parties to their tables by simply dragging and dropping a reservation or walk-in from the the list on the right, to a table on the left. When this is done, the status of the table changes color from grey to blue. The hostess can change the status to Seated by right-clicking on the table.

Reservation and Wait lists are shown in the area to the right. Click the down arrow at the top of the list area to switch back and forth between lists.

The vertical blue bars, act as toggle buttons list view and regular view.
